Tabas Golshan Elixir Company, commercially called Golbarg, has been registered with registration number of 1016 on April 6, 2012 with the aim of producing herbal extracts and essential oils on a land of 7500 square meters area and a building with an area of 1500 square meters.
The factory building consists of a production hall, a warehouse of raw materials, a warehouse of the products, an office building, and a laboratory, managed by observing all safety and health regulations.
Now, Tabas Golshan Elixir Company, focusing on the production of high quality products, is one of the active units of the city of Tabas in the field of production of rose water as well as herbal extracts in separated or combined forms. According to the opinions of experts and consumers, the high quality, impact, and at the same time affordable products of Golbarg Company can be mentioned as tangible attributes of the products of this company compared to other competitors.
By investing in the first phase, the company purchased necessary devices using the credit received from the National Development Fund by the Agricultural Bank as the Agent Bank in 2014. In the next step, a year was spent on installing the machines and setting up the factory, after which its experimental work started in 2015 with the production of three types of products, and eventually, production license was obtained from the associated authorities for 45 types of herbal extracts. Tabas Golshan Elixir Company was officially opened in the period of Government Week with the presence of provincial and local authorities in 2016 and started production of 30 types of herbal products.
The field of activity of the company includes the provision, purchase, sale, distribution, maintenance, supply, stockpiling, promotion, planting, raising, harvesting, export, import, training of medicinal herbs, and traditional medicine education. Golbarg herbal extracts company obtains raw materials and herbs from the most sought after herbs and medicinal plants of the region and pastures under the supervision of experts. Also, in order to expand its field of activities, it is supposed to implement such plans as production of herbal syrup, garlic extract, packaging of medicinal herbs, and construction of cold storage.
Honors and achievements
Tabas Golshan Elixir Company has succeeded in obtaining license for the production of 75 different kinds of herbal extracts, and at present, the production and packaging of 49 types of extracts has led to direct employment of 15 people, while 45 people are also engaged in the work indirectly. The factory has been selected by the Food and Drug Administration as the selected unit of the years 2015 and 2016 and Agricultural Organization has also selected it as the best provincial manufacturing unit in 2016.
